Registered Massage Therapist
Originally from Romania, Carmen came to Canada in 2005. She first studied Financial Services and worked for almost 10 years in a bank, but the desire to help people made her switch careers.
She has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2015. Her training includes General Swedish Massage, Trigger Point release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Fascial Release and Hydrotherapy.
Throughout her career as a Registered Massage Therapist, she has gained experience in treating a wide range of dysfunctions including back, neck and shoulder problems, headaches and migraines, muscle stiffness, joints movement restrictions and stress-related issues.
In order to help people to feel better during her treatments, she successfully applies a combination of techniques, such as: myofascial release, deep tissue therapy, joint mobilizations, stretches and remedial exercises.
She deals with patients of all ages and treats everyone with a personal and individualized approach.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and gardening.
Carmen is available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the clinic.
